What changed in the latest version
273 added · 272 removedPlain-language change summary
In the updated version of Bill HB 811, there are changes to the references regarding federal law related to electronic notices. Specifically, the new version modifies the law to focus on a different section that deals with electronic delivery instead of the previous one, which could influence how and when notifications are communicated. This matters because it can impact the legal processes for organizations in complying with notice requirements, potentially making it easier or clearer for them to deliver important information electronically. Additionally, both versions continue to repeal the Uniform Management of Institutional Funds Act, clarifying that certain regulations are no longer necessary.
