The recent changes to Bill SB 3136 adjust the distribution of funds from retailer's licenses under the Liquor Control Act. Specifically, the amount allocated to the Dram Shop Fund has been increased to $270, while the allocation to the General Revenue Fund is now $230. This matters because the extra funds for the Dram Shop Fund will specifically support the ongoing education and training of state examination employees, enhancing their work and the overall oversight of liquor licensing.
