Plain-language change summary

In the latest version of Bill SB 1732, the effective date section has been simplified. It now states that the bill will take effect immediately upon becoming law, rather than on a specific date in the future (July 1, 2010). This change ensures that the legislation can be implemented as soon as it is officially enacted, rather than waiting for a predetermined date, which can be important for timely responses to pressing issues. Additionally, the previously defined terms regarding state facilities have been removed from this amendment, streamlining the legislation and potentially focusing it on the most urgent aspects.
