What changed in the latest version
19 added · 36 removedPlain-language change summary
The updated version of Bill SB 277 clarifies the rules around electronic bid submissions for construction projects at community colleges. It now states that electronic bids are only accepted if explicitly allowed in the bid documents and must follow security measures at the time of opening. This matters because it enhances the security of bid submissions and helps ensure that all parties involved fully understand the requirements, reducing the risk of disputes or misunderstandings.
