Plain-language change summary

The recent change in Bill SB 374 involves replacing the term “Engrossed” with “Enrolled.” This shift signifies a new phase in the legislative process, as the bill moves closer to final approval. It matters because switching to ‘Enrolled’ indicates that the bill has been passed by the legislature in its final form and is ready for the governor's signature or veto. This progression is crucial as it moves the bill towards becoming law.
