What changed in the latest version
395 added · 398 removedPlain-language change summary
The latest version of SB 69 adds clarity regarding how medical service fees can be divided between healthcare providers. Previously, the language allowed for fee division whether or not a worker was employed; it has now been revised to specify it only applies to those who are licensed to provide services. This change is significant because it reinforces accountability and ensures that only licensed professionals are involved in dividing service fees, which could lead to better patient understanding and trust in billing practices.
