Plain-language change summary

The amended Bill SB 2603 extends the repayment period for bonds issued by conservation districts and forest preserve districts from 20 years to 25 years. This change allows these districts more flexibility in managing their finances and planning for long-term projects. By giving them a longer time to pay back their bonds, it could help support conservation efforts and promote the maintenance of public lands in Illinois.
