Plain-language change summary

The bill SB 459 has been amended to allow individuals with an annual use tax liability of $600 or less to report and pay this tax alongside their income tax return, rather than separately. This change simplifies the tax filing process for many taxpayers and ensures that the use tax is collected and processed in the same way as income tax. By making this adjustment, the state aims to ease the burden on individuals and improve tax compliance.
