Plain-language change summary

The recent amendments to HB 5933 allow real estate professionals whose licenses have been expired for more than two years but less than five years to renew their licenses under certain conditions. Specifically, they must apply, pay a fee, complete required continuing education, and provide proof of fitness. Additionally, if a license has been expired for more than five years, the individual must meet all the requirements to obtain a new license. This change is important because it provides a clearer path for professionals to re-enter the industry, ensuring that experienced individuals can return while maintaining necessary educational standards.
