What changed in the latest version
49 added · 8 removedPlain-language change summary
The recent amendment to SB 716 removed the phrase "or otherwise use" from the bill's language. This change clarifies that the law specifically prohibits the sale of coal tar-based sealants and high PAH sealant products, but it does not explicitly include any other forms of usage under the prohibition. Simplifying the wording helps avoid confusion about the bill's intent and ensures that the focus remains on selling these harmful products, making it easier to enforce the law.
