Plain-language change summary

The legislative amendments to Assembly Bill 470 shifted the timeline for adding 12 new circuit court branches in Wisconsin by one year. Originally scheduled across 2020 to 2022, the addition of the branches will now occur between 2021 and 2023. This adjustment matters because it allows more time for counties to prepare the necessary infrastructure to support these new court branches, ensuring they can effectively handle the increased caseload.
