Plain-language change summary

The changes to Assembly Bill 192 mainly involve expanding the definition of "clinical consultation". The revised bill now explicitly includes communications to a parent, guardian, or relative living with the student as reimbursable interactions under this program. Additionally, it has removed a previous termination date for these reimbursements, ensuring continued support for mental health consultations without an end date. This matters because it facilitates better communication and support for families involved in the care of students with mental health needs.
