Plain-language change summary

The amendment to Bill SB 678 changes its title and establishes that completing the "Getting Over Addicted Lifestyles Successfully Program" will count as meeting the requirements of the DUI Safety and Treatment Program. Additionally, it mandates that individuals who finish this program receive a completion certificate, which the Division of Motor Vehicles must accept as proof of completion of the DUI program. This matters because it streamlines the process for those undergoing addiction treatment, allowing them to fulfill legal requirements in a more efficient manner.
