What changed in the latest version

The recent changes to Bill SB 660 clarify the definition of a "motorcycle" by refining the language regarding what vehicles are excluded, such as tractors and electric bicycles. Additionally, the bill now specifies how certain vehicles—like those being towed—must be constructed in terms of weight distribution. These updates are important because they help establish clearer regulations for motorcycle classification, which can affect safety standards, licensing, and insurance requirements for different types of vehicles on the road.
