Plain-language change summary

The recent amendments to Bill SB 607 clarify the obligations of law enforcement after a motor vehicle crash. Now, officers are required to share the owner, operator, and insurance details of everyone involved in a crash with those who request the information, regardless of whether the official crash report is complete. This change is significant because it ensures quicker access to key information for all parties involved, potentially speeding up the resolution of claims and improving communication after an accident.
