Plain-language change summary

The updated version of SB 6663 has removed a provision that required the Department of Health to simply provide links to existing information about "diabulimia," an eating disorder related to type 1 diabetes. Instead, the new version mandates a comprehensive report that will investigate the prevalence of eating disorders among people with diabetes in Washington, the associated risks, and available treatment options. This change is significant because it aims to deepen our understanding of the connection between eating disorders and diabetes, leading to better treatment and support for affected individuals.
