Plain-language change summary

The amended version of AB 787 changes the process for providing a $2 million interest-free loan to the Greater Green Bay Convention and Visitor Bureau for a visitor information center. Originally, the Building Commission was responsible for approving this funding, but the amendment delegates that authority to the Department of Administration. This shift is significant because it streamlines the process, allowing for faster access to funding, which can help promote tourism and stimulate the local economy more quickly.
