Plain-language change summary

The recent amendment to House Bill 5252 updates the definitions of what constitutes a "health facility or agency" under Michigan's Public Health Code. Specifically, the bill adds clarity by listing examples of health services, such as ambulance operations and surgical outpatient facilities, which helps ensure that all relevant medical providers are covered by the regulations. This change is significant because it aims to enhance the oversight of health facilities, ultimately improving patient care and safety within the state.
