Plain-language change summary

The updated version of Bill SB 5151 introduces a requirement for the growth management hearings board to create a searchable database of its decisions and rulings, allowing users to search by topic, party, or location. This change aims to improve access to information and enhance transparency regarding the board's actions. Additionally, the bill now specifies that all decisions issued before January 1, 2019, must be published by June 30, 2020, ensuring that past rulings are also easily accessible. These amendments are significant because they strengthen the accountability of the board and facilitate public engagement with its processes.
