What changed in the latest version
33 added · 37 removedPlain-language change summary
The updated version of Bill SB 293 removes a separate section that would have allowed prescribers to dispense certain controlled substances for reproductive health without a license. Instead, it reinforces the existing requirement that all practitioners must be licensed to dispense controlled substances. This change matters because it maintains stricter regulations on how and when controlled substances can be dispensed, ensuring that all practices meet the same licensing standards for safety and accountability.
