Plain-language change summary

The updated version of HB 4381 now clarifies that adopted children can obtain a lifetime hunting, fishing, and trapping license for half the price of an adult license, but only during the first two years following their adoption, and up until they turn 12. This change emphasizes that the opportunity for the discount is time-sensitive, encouraging families to act promptly after adoption. It matters because it provides a financial incentive for adopted children to enjoy outdoor activities with their families, promoting bonding and conservation awareness.
