Plain-language change summary

The revised version of Bill SB 670 expands the scope of the education expenses that can qualify for tax incentives under the 26 U.S.C. § 529 plan. Previously focused solely on higher education, the bill now includes tuition and other education-related expenses for private and religious primary, middle, and secondary schools. This change is significant as it promotes more comprehensive support for families in West Virginia, making education more accessible at all levels.
