Plain-language change summary

The recent changes to Bill SB 14 involve updating the article numbers related to the creation of the West Virginia Farm-to-School Grant Program from §19-36 to §19-37. This amendment also clarifies the management of funds, ensuring that any unspent dollars will stay in the grant program rather than revert to the state's general fund at the end of the fiscal year. This matters because it helps secure ongoing financial support for local agricultural products in schools, promoting healthier food options for students while supporting local farmers.
