Plain-language change summary

The bill SB 627 has been updated to clarify that the Commissioner of Agriculture does not have to use the State Agency for Surplus Property when dealing with repossessed items from the Rural Rehabilitation Loan Program. This change allows the Commissioner to work with other governmental entities in managing the loan program. This matters because it gives more flexibility in handling surplus assets, potentially leading to better outcomes for the program and those it serves.
