Plain-language change summary

The amendments to Bill SB 268 update the language regarding the West Virginia Corporation Net Income Tax Act. Specifically, the bill now incorporates changes to federal tax laws made between December 31, 2017, and January 1, 2019, instead of before January 1, 2018. This is important because it ensures that West Virginia's tax code remains aligned with recent federal tax reforms, which could affect how corporations are taxed and ultimately impact state revenue.
