Plain-language change summary

The updated version of Bill HB 5152 adds a requirement that the grantee, which is the person receiving the property, must provide a completed notice of rights to the grantor before the conveyance happens but only after a specific cooling-off period. Additionally, the new version emphasizes that this notice must now be a separate document and includes specific formatting requirements, such as being printed in bold type that is easy to read. These changes are important because they aim to ensure that those selling their property in foreclosure situations have clearer information about their rights, helping to protect them during a vulnerable time.
