Plain-language change summary

The recent changes to Bill SB 675 include a shift in the required percentage of funding from the Litter Control Fund for matching grants to counties and municipalities, reducing it from 50% to 30%. Additionally, the start date for this funding requirement has been updated to July 1, 2019, instead of the previous date of July 1, 2005. These adjustments aim to make litter control initiatives more financially manageable for local governments, encouraging them to implement and maintain effective litter management programs.
