The updated version of SB 353 adds a provision that allows the Department of Conservation to convey a 39.564-acre parcel of land in Henrico County to the Economic Development Authority without requiring any payment. This change matters because it facilitates the transfer of land that could support local economic development initiatives, potentially leading to new jobs and investments in the area.
