Plain-language change summary

The recent changes to Bill SB 673 involve the repeal of certain sections concerning the master plan for higher education accountability and strategic planning. This means that while these specific planning elements are being removed from the bill, the focus on maintaining a strong accountability system for higher education will continue. This is significant because it streamlines the reporting and operational procedures, aiming to ensure that information about the quality and performance of public higher education remains accessible and consistent for all stakeholders, including students and policymakers.
