Plain-language change summary

The recent amendments to HB 155 clarify the regulations surrounding clinics that treat opioid addiction, particularly regarding their proximity to schools and day care centers in Henrico County and Richmond. The changes specify that existing facilities won't need to comply with new location rules unless they choose to relocate or open a new site. This is important as it ensures that current providers can continue operating without disruption while still setting standards for new facilities to protect the welfare of children nearby.
