Plain-language change summary

The key change in Senate Bill 6565 allows wheelchair-accessible taxicabs to use high occupancy vehicle (HOV) lanes, which was not specifically mentioned in the earlier version of the bill. This amendment is crucial because it enhances transportation access for individuals with mobility disabilities, helping to reduce travel times and promote inclusivity in public transportation. By enabling these vehicles to use faster lanes, it supports a more efficient and equitable transit system.
