What changed in the latest version

The amended version of SB 672 clarifies the definition of "small employer," ensuring it includes those with an average of 1 to 50 eligible employees, which remains consistent with prior language. Additionally, it emphasizes the requirement for health insurance providers to clearly disclose any state-mandated health benefits that are not included in their policies. This transparency is important because it helps small employers understand exactly what services they are covered for, ensuring they can make informed decisions about their health insurance options.
