Plain-language change summary

The updated version of Bill HB 995 now allows licensed hunters to use tracking dogs to find wounded or dead bears, turkeys, or deer during hunting seasons, including after hours, as long as they have permission to access the land and are only tracking the specific animal. The previous requirement for a special license to track with dogs has been removed, simplifying the process for hunters. This change is important because it makes it easier for hunters to responsibly retrieve animals and reduce unnecessary suffering.
