The amendments to SB 6075 update the requirements for political advertising disclosures, particularly regarding online ads. Key changes include clarifying that small online advertisements must disclose the sponsor's name and can use alternate methods for additional required disclosures. This matters because increasing transparency in political advertising helps voters understand who is financing campaigns, promoting accountability and informed decision-making in elections.
