Plain-language change summary

The amendment to HB 1586 increases the number of public members on the Washington state dental quality assurance commission from two to three. Additionally, it clarifies the requirements for dental licensing applicants, particularly regarding residency programs for those who may replace traditional examinations. This change is significant because it aims to enhance the diversity and representation on the commission and possibly make it easier for qualified candidates, especially those who have served in community health settings, to obtain their dental licenses.
