The amendment to SB 5173 introduces clearer guidelines regarding who can be involved in loss prevention review teams at state agencies, ensuring that individuals directly connected to an incident are excluded from the reviews. It also requires that state agencies provide timely access to relevant documents and employees for these teams. These changes are significant because they aim to make the review process more impartial and effective, which can help prevent future incidents and improve accountability in state operations.
