The updated bill SB 5345 adds a new special license plate called the "Imagine license plate," which features John Lennon’s self-portrait and the slogan "Imagine." The purpose of these plates is to raise funds for Feeding Washington, initiatives aimed at combating hunger in the state. Additionally, the effective date of the bill has been adjusted from October 1, 2017, to January 1, 2018. This change is significant as it allows more time for implementation and raises awareness for a deserving cause.
