Plain-language change summary

The updated version of SB 6107 lowers the registration renewal fee for electric motorcycles from $150 to $30. This change is significant because it makes owning and operating an electric motorcycle more affordable, encouraging more people to use environmentally-friendly transportation options. Additionally, it simplifies the fee structure, eliminating previous exemptions and transitional provisions, which could help streamline the registration process for electric motorcycle owners.
