What changed in the latest version
217 added · 239 removedPlain-language change summary
The latest version of Bill HB 863 adds a definition for "broker price opinion," which is essentially an estimate of a property's selling price created by real estate professionals. This change clarifies what is meant by this term and helps to standardize practices in real estate transactions. It matters because having a clear definition can improve transparency for buyers and sellers, making real estate processes more reliable. Additionally, some previous content regarding real estate recovery funds has been removed, suggesting a tightening of focus on specific definitions.
