Plain-language change summary

The recent amendments to Bill SB 741 increase certain court fees from $10 to $12 for initial filings in Pennsylvania’s courts. This change affects fees collected by various court officials, including prothonotaries and clerks, for civil actions and legal proceedings. This increase is significant because it could impact individuals seeking legal remedies by raising their costs, potentially affecting access to the legal system.
