Plain-language change summary

The recent changes to Bill HB 1009 clarify that the Borough of West Newton can release Project 70 restrictions on certain land in exchange for developing park and open space. Additionally, the amendments included removing references to Upper Uwchlan, indicating a focus solely on West Newton. This matters because it ensures that the borough can enhance its recreational opportunities without the complications of involving another municipality, thus streamlining the process for improving community spaces.
