Plain-language change summary

The recent amendment to Bill HB 2124 clarified the language regarding student loans, specifically removing references to loans being "disbursed by the institution of higher education." This change matters because it broadens the scope of the information that institutions must provide to students, including estimates on total loan repayment and monthly costs for any education loans, not just those provided through the institution. By ensuring that all education loans are considered, students will receive more comprehensive information to help them understand their financial obligations after graduation.
