Plain-language change summary

The recent amendment to Bill HB 1490 involves the removal of a few lines from the earlier version, specifically lines that inferred descriptions about equipment associated with municipal authorities. While the definitions of the "Authority" remain largely unchanged, this adjustment streamlines the bill's language and focuses on clarifying the roles and powers of municipal authorities. By clarifying these definitions, the bill aims to provide a more straightforward understanding of the responsibilities of authorities that handle water and wastewater services, which ultimately affects how residents engage with these services.
