Plain-language change summary

The revisions made to Assembly Bill 101 include adding requirements for prosecuting attorneys to provide more detailed disclosures about informants before a trial. These changes specify that attorneys must share information such as the informant's criminal history, any benefits received in exchange for their testimony, and any instances where the informant recanted their statement. This matters because it increases transparency in the legal process, ensuring that defendants have access to critical information that may affect their defense and the fairness of the trial.
