(1) three members, each of whom is from the African American studies department or similar cultural studies program at the Nevada State College, the University of Nevada, Las Vegas orand the University of Nevada, Reno;Reno, respectively;
and (6) one member who represents a cultural history organization in this State.State;
and (7) one member who represents the Office of the Governor.
(1) create and distribute written, electronic or printed materials to educate the public on theStates; history and meaning of Juneteenth Day in the State of Nevada and the United community groups to support education on the significance of Juneteenth Day;
(3)(2) supportdevelop thestrategies effortswith of businesses, communitynonprofit groupsorganizations andandited localcommunity governmentsgroups to establishsupport eventseducation andon programsthe relatingsignificance toof Juneteenth DayDay; throughout the State;

(c) The following ex officio, nonvoting members:
On or before July 1 of each year, the Commission shall submit a written report to the Director of the Legislative Counsel Bureau for submission to the Legislature, or if the Legislature is - *AB409_R1* – 4 – not in session, the Legislative Commission.
The report must include, without limitation, a summary of the work of the Commission during the past fiscal year and any recommendations - *AB409* – 4 – for legislation to improve awareness of Juneteenth Day and African American history in this State.
There is hereby created the Juneteenth Educational and Economic Fund in the State Treasury, to be adm2.isAnyadministered interestby earnedthe onDirector, moneyfor in the Fundsupport mustof be credited to the Fund.Commission.

Any interest earned on money in the Fund must be credited to the Fund.
Money that remains in the Fund at the end of a fiscal year does not revert to the State General Fund, and the balance in the Fund must be carried forward to the next fiscal year.year.lance in the 4.
