The recent amendments to Bill AB 67 add a section allowing the Division to accept gifts, grants, and donations to support its Fund. This change ensures that any leftover money in the Fund at the end of the fiscal year will be carried over rather than returning to the State General Fund. These additions could provide more financial stability and opportunities for the Fund, allowing it to better support its goals without the risk of losing unspent funds at the year's end.
