Plain-language change summary

The revised version of Assembly Bill No. 477 has made a significant change by directing the State Controller to transfer any leftover funds from the Revolving Account for the Assistance of the Department to the Account for Off-Highway Vehicles. This matters because it ensures that any unspent money can be used to support the operation of the Commission on Off-Highway Vehicles and finance projects related to off-highway vehicles, potentially enhancing recreational opportunities and resource management. By eliminating the separate account, the bill streamlines funding for off-highway vehicle management and oversight.
