Existing law requires the Director of the Department of Veterans Services to perform various duties to assist veterans, servicemen and servicewomen and their dependents.
(NRS 417.090) This bill requires the Director to establish and maintain a program to assist veterans and servicemen and servicewomen in transitioning to life as civilians.
The program is required to provide information and resourcesoresources specific to this State concerning higher education, career development, physical and mental health care and other benefits available to veterans and servicemen and servicewomen.

The Director shall establish and maintain a program to assist veterans and servicemen and servicewomen in transitioning - *AB22* – 2 – to life as civilians.

(g)andng Housing;military training;
and- (h)81st AnySession other(2021) benefits– available2 to– veterans and servicemen and servicewomen to assist them in transitioning to life asasmen civilians.
