The amended SB 148 increases the financial assistance for moving a manufactured home from $2,500 to $5,000 for a single-section home and from $5,000 to $10,000 for a larger manufactured home. This increase is significant because it provides tenants more support to relocate if a mobile home park is designated for older residents, ensuring they can find affordable housing options without a heavy financial burden. Additionally, the requirements for landlords to notify tenants about changes in park restrictions remain the same.
