Plain-language change summary

The bill AB 16 has been updated to replace the term "agricultural extension" with "cooperative extension," broadening its focus beyond just agriculture to include various cooperative programs. Additionally, it clarifies that the annual report should detail all cooperative extension work conducted in the past year and specify funding sources used. This change is significant because it allows for a more comprehensive overview of cooperative programs and ensures that financial contributions from different sources are tracked, potentially leading to better resource allocation and program effectiveness.
